Looks like the book is out now in the USA, and will be soon in Canada and the UK.

This is a link about the exhibit that was held of the art featured in the book:

An illustrated book entitled Steam Punk: The Beginning is supposed to be appearing in September. According to JB, "It's for the most part an art book that was the result of a show of steampunk art at Cal State University, Fullerton, where Tim, KW, and I graduated.  Illustration students and alums did illos based on The Anubis Gates, Infernal Devices, and Homunculus.  I believe I offered them a personal essay ("My life in the Steam Trade") and "The Ape-box Affair."  I assume both will be in there.  I think Tim gave them something, although I don't know what, but KW didn't participate personally.  Very cool bunch of illustrations."
