I got the trade paperback - this edition was out of my price range! It was a rather phantasmagorical edition, constantly disappearing and reappearing on the Titan website. It looks like it's gone again now. Part of the confusion with their website is that you can "choose your country", which changes the information displayed, but the special edition isn't on the UK site either. One new thing on their site is that The Aylesford Skull was nominated for an Airship Award:

Did anyone else get a chance to buy one of these?  Mine arrived soon after I ordered it back in April and it is a nice looking book.  But it never was available on Amazon again, and it didn't seem to be up for very long on Titan's own website either.  Plus I don't see any for sale on ebay or abebooks, which seems strange.  It's almost like they all disappeared.

The Titan Books website has the Limited Edition for sale again:

UPDATE: For no apparent reason, Titan Books has very helpfully changed the address to:

presumably to work "numbered" into the URL.

Strange... I sense the hidden hand of Ignacio Narbondo in these events.

There was a delay for a while with the books, due to them getting stuck in customs in South America (odd, but true). Possibly the delay, and a premature listing in the catalogues of Amazon and Titan Books, explains the peculiar disappearance of the special edition.

It was also available briefly on here:

I ordered it and should receive it tomorrow.  Now that they've pulled them from the stores, though, I wonder if they found a problem with them.

The Aylesford Skull limited edition HC is available through Titan books now for £40.00 (Cost of shipping to the USA is £14.00. Shipping to Canada is £25.00 for some reason).
All copies are signed and printed in sepia ink, with a special cover and book-marker ribbon.
