PS Publishing is starting a new magazine.  I thought people might be interested in this bit of news they posted:

"John Berlyne has recently returned from France where he had meetings with Tim Powers and James P. Blaylock (watch out for the interview in the first issue of Postscripts Magazine). John is now hard at work putting together SECRET HISTORIES, the veritable monster of a book that he’s subtitled 'An Extensive Bibliography of the Works of Tim Powers'. "

"The price of the magazine will be £5/$8 and there will be a special collectors’ edition of 100 numbered hardcover copies signed by all contributors priced at £50/$80."

This is finally out, but the cover price for the regular edition is $10 instead of the originally mentioned $8.

The interview with James Blaylock is pretty good... but that was to be expected. Smiley

Neil --

Thanks for your kind comments on the interview!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The Postscripts interview is only about 8k words - about half of the full transcription. When the rights expire I might find a place to put the full thing up online if people are interested.

Jim was a fascinating interviewee - very funny and very open to giving me an insight into his world vision and, of course, his fiction. Modesty prevents me from suggesting that it's all in asking the right questions, of course! but I couldn't have wished for a more forthcoming subject.

Best

John.

John - You're welcome to post the interview here when the rights expire, either in the discussion forum or in the main section of the Blaylock website (if the latter, then you could e-mail me and we can discuss how you'd like it presented).
