Yes, even in this day and age, there remain believers in the Hollow Earth.  I love these guys!

Check them out:

Somehow seeing "Journey to the Center of the Earth" as a child has made me want to scoff at science on this point.  The idea of a whole other world inside of our own is just too romantic to give up on.  Factually speaking, scientist do say that we've only scratched the surface regarding how many miles of caverns exist, and how many we've actually found, so there is some truth to the whole thing.  Of course there's the whole molten lava to deal with...but that's another story.

Actually that's where the real conspiracy comes in, what better way to keep people out of the Center of the Earth, than to tell them that it's filled with molten rock...

Okay, I'm beginning to sound like a Hollow Earth Theorist myself here, I better stop now, and divert attention towards someone else.

I think Julian Sands is probably the worst actor ever.  Not so much in terms of skill, but in role choice.  'Warlock', 'Boxing Helena', and God knows what else...  Keanu Reaves on the other hand, while having very little actual talent, has actually taken on many good roles which he could handle...'Ted' of 'Bill and Ted', 'Neo' of 'The Matrix', and that cop in 'Speed' to name a few...

Enough diversion, back to the Hollow Earth and the crazies who believe in it.  I think those guys would make a better case if they could show us a big cave which leads into a huge cavity as large as the interior of the Earth...or some photographs of said cavity. The scientists, however, are at the advantage, because no one wants to see all that molten rock up close anyway.

Note: I really like the new, politically-correct terminology...

"International Society for a Complete Earth"
