Scientists are sending a robot down into a gigantic hole down in the ocean between Tenerife and Barbados:

Will the bot pierce through to Balumnia? I'm thinking the scientists should've made a steam-powered bot, since this electronic thingy isn't as likely to work in Balumnia.

Man - it's gonna be raining dinosaurs as soon as that robot hits the anti-matter!

The link no longer works.  Have there been any results from the exploration?  Where do we find out?

I guess if they found something, like dinosaurs, they probably wouldn't release it to the public.

They're probably out riding the demetredons right now.

Hey has anyone seen the "Blue Planet" series?

There was an episode about deep sea life, in which submariners discovered what looked like a lake at the bottom of the ocean.  They showed footage of it, and described it as dense, dark water, which their submarine could not penetrate.

You could actually see the waves on the surface of this underwater lake.  I've never seen anything like it, but I can't find any reference to it online or anywhere else.

--edit--
I found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzUEr7uMnXU&NR=1  Smiley

Ha - man, that is cool!  I wonder if any tiny kelp-men attacked that robot?
