Title: Covers

I noticed that Blaylock's literary agent, the Zeno Agency, has an extensive collection of cover images from English and foreign-language editions here: http://zenoagency.com/clients-list/b/blaylock-james-p/ (http://zenoagency.com/clients-list/b/blaylock-james-p/)

Cool to see all of the different interpretations of the cover artists in different languages/cultures.  There's a cover for the Elfin Ship in an alphabet which baffles me a little.  Could be Cyrillic.  Don't think it's  Greek.  But there are some diacritic marks I don't recognize.  A little mystery for the uninitiated/ignorant, like me!  Anyway, there is a face popping out of the cover that looks more like a deranged pro wrestler than a Blaylock character.  Certainly a different take from the way I see the Cheeser, et al., in my mind, but that's all to the good, I say.

That's the Russian cover, the one with the [ch1049]. [ch1049] is a sort of short i or y sound. The text in yellow is the Russian equivalent of "James Blaylock"
written phonetically in Cyrillic. [ch1101][ch1083][ch1100][ch1092][ch1080][ch1081][ch1089][ch1082][ch1080][ch1081] [ch1082][ch1086][ch1088][ch1072][ch1073][ch1083][ch1100] = Elven Ship.
